Obituary
William J. Fisher of Champaign formerly of Lincoln,
passed away on July 17, 2016 at Heartland Health
Care Center, Champaign. William was born May 18,
1928 in Hartsburg, the son of Joseph and Maude
Bailey Fisher.
He is survived by son, Joseph (Jan) Fisher of
Champaign; his daughter, Kim (Mike) Jones of
Valencia, CA; his four grandchildren and 4
great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his son,
Jon Fisher; his sister, Helen Sheldon; and his
brother, Joseph Fisher.
William proudly served his country during WWII and
The Korean War as a United States Marine. He retired
from Ronnoco Coffee as territorial manager. |
A graveside service for William will be held at
10:00 a.m. on Thursday July 21, 2016 with Rev.
Michael Paulson Officiating at Hartsburg Union
Cemetery, Hartsburg. Full Military Rites will be
accorded by the Lincoln American Legion Post #263.
Services have been entrusted to
Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home, Lincoln.
