Service: 6 p.m. Friday, July 22, at the church

Obituary

Geoffrey J. Griswold Jr., 45, of Lincoln, passed away July 15, 2016, at his residence.

Cremation rites have been accorded by Holland Barry & Bennett Funeral Home.

Memorial services will be Friday, July 22, 2016, at 6 p.m. at Abundant Life House of Praise, Lincoln. Visitation will be one hour prior ( 5 p.m. - 6 p.m.) also at the church.

Geoff was born October 8, 1970, in Chicago, the son of Geoffrey J Griswold Sr. and Sherrie (Quain) Griswold. He married Cynthia Howerton on September 9, 1999.

Mr. Griswold loved his God and was passionate about his church and outreach ministry. He was a member of Abundant Life House of Praise in Lincoln where he served on the board and was an active member. He enjoyed cars and he and his wife attended many car shows. Geoff loved his family. He was a jokester and loved to laugh and make others laugh. He enjoyed life and lived it to it's fullest.

Surviving are his wife Cynthia Griswold of Lincoln; his parents, and his sister Darcie Wertz.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents.

Memorial donations may be made to the family in care of Cynthia Griswold.
