Suspect
in Casey's robbery arrested

LINCOLN
- On Tuesday, July 19, 2016, at about 10:08 p.m. Lincoln Police
Department was requested to Casey’s General Store, 1100 5th St,
Lincoln, in reference to a robbery.

Upon arrival, Lincoln Police officers were notified that a white
male subject wearing a black t-shirt with “Got Crabs?” written on
the front wearing a pair of shorts on his head demanded money from
the cash register while implying he had a firearm. The suspect made
off with less than $500.
Due to Media and Social Media posts online we were provided
information the suspect was seen on July 20th at a local store still
wearing the same clothing. Officers were able to identify the
suspect from video surveillance and witness statements. Officers
located the suspect in the 400 block of 6th St in Lincoln and placed
him under arrest. The suspect was identified as Nicholas R. Schriber
(30) of Lincoln. He has been charged with Aggravated Robbery, which
is a class 1 felony.
This investigation is still open and in progress by the Lincoln
Police Department. The arrest charges are merely allegations, and
the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
All reports will be forwarded to the Logan County State’s Attorney
for review.
