Obituary
Mary Hildebrandt, 85 of Lincoln passed away on July
26, 2016 at 8:53 p.m. in Lincoln. Mary was born
August 30, 1930 in New Holland “Coonsburg,” the
daughter of Offie and Esther Ritchhart Rankin. She
married Bernard Hildebrandt on August 7, 1949 in
Middletown; he preceded her in death on March 8,
2009.
She is survived by her daughter, Deborah Skelton;
her sons, Wayne Hildebrandt, and Barney "Butch"
Hildebrandt and his wife (Bert); her sisters, Esther
Boward and Frances Banister; her brother, Richard
Rankin; her grandchildren, Elizabeth Skelton,
Christian (Amandah) Skelton, Adrienne Hildebrandt,
Sarah (Rick) Puls, and Matthew (Tara) Comstock; and
her thirteen great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her
husband, her brothers, Kenny, Robert “Bob”, John,
Harold, and Elmer; and her sisters, Margaret and
Patricia.
Mary was a long time member of The First United
Methodist Church in Lincoln.
Services for Mary will be held at 11:00 a.m. on
Monday August 1, 2016 at The First United Methodist
Church in Lincoln. A visitation will be held from
2:00-5:00 p.m. on Sunday July 31, 2016 at
Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home Lincoln and
also one hour prior to the service at the church.
Burial will take place after the service at
Hartsburg Union Cemetery, Hartsburg.
Memorial donations may be made in Mary’s name to
Logan County Relay for Life or The First United
Methodist Church.
