This
past weekend there were several fun and interesting
activities going on in Logan County. The 2nd annual
Pigs & Swigs featured KCBS competitions and other
barbecue events at Up in Smoke on the Square, as
well as a Homebrew Competition, Bags Tournament,
lots of fun, food and music, all held around the
downtown square of Lincoln. Also on Saturday was the
annual Harvest of Talents Princess Tea and the
Nathan Turner Memorial Fishing Derby. The weekend
was capped by the first Sunday Flea Market, held in
the parking lot of the Oasis Senior Center. In
today's edition, LDN will feature all the coverage
from Pigs & Swigs. Look for coverage of the tea, the
fishing derby, and the flea market on Tuesday and
Wednesday.
