[June 06, 2016]  McLEAN - Eva Louemma Cook, 99, of McLean passed awy on Saturday, June 4, 2016 at the Symphony of Lincoln Nursing Home in Lincoln.
 

Visitation: 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday, June 9 at Quiram Peasley Funeral Home

Service: 2 p.m. thursday at the funeral home

Obituary

McLean- Eva Louemma Cook, 99, of McLean passed away on Saturday, June 4, 2016 at 3:50 p.m. at the Symphony of Lincoln Nursing Home in Lincoln.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Cook will be held on Thursday, June 9, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at the Quiram Peasley Funeral Home with Rev. Darwin Cook officiating.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the service on Thursday at the funeral home.

Burial will be in the Atlanta Cemetery.

Eva Louemma Dalbey was born on September 23, 1916 in Mackinaw the daughter of Henry and Dana Berry Dalbey. She was united in marriage to Osco Willard Cook on June 17, 1941 in Lincoln. He preceded her in death on March 4, 2005.

She is survived by her children: Darwin (Beverly) Cook of Tuscon, Az., Mavis Cook of McLean, Jim (Lena) Cook of Bartonville, Russell (Judith) Cook of Beason, Gary Cook and John Cook both of McLean, One brother: Charles Dalbey of Kansas, nine grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and nine brothers and sisters.

She was of the Christian faith.

She was employed by the Scully Family and later worked at Short's Nursing Home in Atlanta and the Mary Henry Nursing Home in Lincoln.

Memorials may by made the Charity of the donor's choice.
