The visitors jumped on the Heat in the first game, winning 14-2.
Jude Toft and Mason Fisher scored the only runs for Lincoln in the
opener.
Lincoln came back strong in the nightcap, scoring five runs in the
first on a walk by Toft, followed by doubles from Parker Graue and
Drew Hayes, a triple from Tate Johnston and a single from Deegan
Aeilts, who stole second and third before scoring on a wild pitch.
The Braves were able to push two runs across in the second before
Aaron Roede added another run for the Heat after reaching on a
fielder’s choice, giving them a 6-2 lead.

Lincoln struck again in the third inning when Kyle Koehler and Toft
led off with a pair of walks to set the table for Drew Hayes, who
promptly hit a three-run homer, stretching the Heat lead to 9-2.
Aeilts threw four strong innings in the game, striking out five
before Hayes came in to close it by striking out the side in the
fifth.
The 9U team has a week off before returning to action in a home
doubleheader next Tuesday against Rochester.
