							OSKALOOSA, IA - Lois J. (Coates) Mayberry, 89, of 
							Oskaloosa, formerly of Lincoln and Normal, passed 
							away at 6:55 p.m. May 31, 2016 at Oskaloosa Care 
							Center, Oskaloosa, IA.
 Lois was born October 23, 1926 in Lincoln, the 
							daughter of Otis and Cora (Wieber) Coates. She 
							married Wallace Forsythe Mayberry September 25, 1947 
							in Lincoln. He passed away October 18, 2010 after 62 
							years together.
 
 Surviving Lois is her daughter: Janet Killam of 
							Omaha, NE; her son Steve (Debbie) Mayberry of Albia, 
							IA; her sister Marian E. Haseley, Beason. Lois’ 
							legacy also includes grandson: Michael P. (Jean Ann) 
							Mayberry of Fremont, IA and two great grandchildren: 
							Tanner and Taylor Rea. She was preceded in death by 
							her parents, husband Wallace and twin sister, Louise 
							Davis.
 
 She graduated from Lincoln Community High School in 
							1944. She was employed by Robeson’s in Champaign, 
							GenTel in Bloomington and Black’s True Value in 
							Kewanee.
 
 Lois was an active member of First United Methodist 
							Church in Normal.
 
 Services for Lois will be at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, 
							June 8, 2016 at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral 
							Home, Lincoln. Burial will be in New Union Cemetery, 
							Lincoln. Visitation will be one hour prior to 
							service from 12:00-1:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
 
 Memorials may be given in Lois’ name to American 
							Parkinson Disease Association.
