            | To the editor:
On behalf of the Lincoln Oasis Senior Center, I would like to take
this opportunity to thank each and every person that enjoyed our
			nightly festivities. The meals of celebration had a great turnout;
33 pies were part of the silent auction; the gift shop was visited
by many; we sold over 75 pounds of donated cookies and candies; the
“Taste of Lincoln” was a large success and the auction of decorated
Christmas trees was a lot of fun with our volunteer auctioneer, Dan
			White.

A special thank you to the vendors for the first Oasis “Taste of
Lincoln:” Deep Roots Café & Bakery (Fay and Megan Boerma); El
Mazatlan Restaurant & Grill (Martin Leon), Guzzardo’s Italian Villa
(John, Frankie and Nick Guzzardo), Lincoln Land Catering (Pat and
Nick Bay); Nuthatch Hill BBQ Company (Brad Luckhart); Petty’s Place
(Peggy Payne), and Samsational Sweets (Samantha Danosky). These
caterers and restaurateurs so generously donated their time and
their exceptionally tasty delights. We appreciated the community for
being so supportive of the Oasis Senior Center. Please thank these
folks when you have the opportunity to do business with them.

The Oasis would not be able to operate without its volunteers. No
matter the size of the job(s) you performed, the Oasis appreciates
every minute you gave during our four amazing nights of festivities.
To each and every person that volunteered and gave of themselves for
the Oasis Senior Center, you are extended a heartfelt thank you.

The Oasis wishes you all a blessed, happy and healthy holiday
			season!

 Sincerely,
 Dom Dalpoas
 Executive Director
