The group meets the third Friday of each month at the Oasis Senior
Center located at 2810 Woodlawn Road in Lincoln. This month the
group will meet on June 17 and discuss how to navigate your favorite
summer cookout foods and family gatherings without exceeding your
carbohydrate budget.
The casual group meetings are free and do not require registration.
Jennifer DiPasquale, a registered dietitian and certified diabetes
educator, leads the group.
“The diabetes support group is a great opportunity to get practical
and timely information about how to manage your diabetes,”
DiPasquale said. Family members, friends and caregivers are also
welcome to attend the meetings.
