Relay for Life to include live auction, silent auction, and raffles

[June 17, 2016]   LINCOLN - Kathleen Brumbaugh shows one of the Survivors Quilts she created from various years of survivor shirts and has offered it for the live auction at this years Relay For Life on June 18 at Lincoln College. The auction will begin at 7:00 p.m. with Mike Maske, auctioneer.

Assisting Kathleen is Cyra Buttell, the Logan County Lead who has announced that there will also be a Raffle for a Demolition Derby Car ($10 each; 4/$30; 20/$100) from Brad Whiteman. He will also offer some of his hats, shirts, hoodies, and more. Raffle chances are available now from Brad and will be available at the Relay as well. As in years past, there will be Vendors and Silent Auction bidding goes until 8:30 p.m.

Schedule of laps, entertainment and other events

  • 11 a.m. Lunch by Lincoln College on the track begins.
  • 11 a.m. Survivor registration and shirt pick up begins.
  • Noon – Opening Ceremony with Color Guard and National Anthem
  • Noon – Master of Ceremonies; Cameron Kurtz
  • Noon - Lap: Team Lap and Kids Lap
  • 1 p.m. - Trash Band/Good News
  • 1 p.m. - Lap: Rolling with the Bubbles
  • 2 p.m. – DJ
  • 2 p.m. - Lap: Fun Lap
  • 2:30 – Surprise Entertainment
  • 3 p.m. – DJ
  • 3 p.m. - Lap: Do you believe in Magic (your favorite holiday)
  • 4 p.m. – Trivia
  • 4 p.m. – Lap: Welcome to the Jungle (wear your animal print)
  • 5 p.m. – Lesleigh Bennett
  • 5 p.m. – Lap: Rock your inner artist
  • 6 p.m. Survivor Program and Survivor lap led by Honorary Chairs: Julius & Marilyn Kasa & Frankie Guzzardo
