			Summer Showcase Dinner Programs at

            [June 17, 2016]  ATLANTA 
			- The Atlanta Public Library and Museum will host a series of 
			“Summer Showcase Dinner Programs” at the Palms Grill Café in July 
			and August. These events will feature locally grown/produced food 
			and local talent. The Summer Showcase Dinner Programs will be held 
			at the Palms Grill Café, located 110 SW Arch Street in downtown 
			Atlanta. Dinner begins at 5:30 pm, with the evening’s program 
			starting at 7pm. Reservations are required and limited to 
			approximately 50 people. Phone 217-648-5077 to make a reservation 
			for any of the scheduled Dinner Programs.  |

			 Friday, July 1st “Chicken & Pickin” Featuring Danny Tackett
 
 Back by popular demand, guitarist Danny Tackett, a former Atlanta 
			resident in the 1970s, worked for four and a half decades in the 
			news department of The Courier in Lincoln. He retired in 2012, and 
			has been enjoying himself writing books, articles, and playing his 
			guitar. He’s returning for two engagements during the Summer 
			Showcase Dinner Program series. It’s sure to be a fun evennig of 
			good food and great music.
 
 Menu: Choice of Fried Chicken or Pulled Pork Dinner, served 
			with Coleslaw and Baked Macaroni & Cheese, or a choose a Chef’s

 Presenting PrairiErth Farm!
 
 Dave Bishop has been farming his rural Atlanta acres for 30+ years. 
			He has seen first hand some of the detrimental effects of 
			conventional farming on the soil and to the farm and rural 
			communities. Along with his son, Hans and daughter-in-law, Katie, 
			Dave’s goal is to play a part in limiting our ecological footprint 
			by caring for the earth. For them, organic farming is more than just 
			a practice, it is a way to influence a healthy life in our community 
			and provide a sustainable way of producing food. Come learn about 
			their efforts and enjoy a taste of PrairiErth Farm.
 
 Menu: Choice of Stuffed Pork Loin with sauted vegetables or 
			Summer Quiche served with roasted potatoes & salad or choose a 
			Grilled Salmon Salad. PrairiErth Farm vegetables and salad greens 
			will be featured in this menu.

Friday, Juy 29thA Whiskey Tradition – The Story of the J. K. Williams Distillery
 
 The descendants of Prohibition-era, bootleg whiskey-making master, J.K. 
Williams, felt a certain responsibility to bring craft whiskey and 
bourbon-making back to the Peoria area. Their great-great-grandpa was a family 
man with an extraordinary work ethic and an undeniable talent for making some of 
the best whiskey of his time. Join us as members of the Williams family share 
the story of how they opened their East Peorial-based distillery business in 
2013. Cheers!
 
 Menu: Choice of Whiskey BBQ Chicken or Grilled Pork Chop Dinner, served 
with Potato Salad and Baked Beans or choose a Grilled Chicken Cobb Salad served 
with choice of dressing. We’ll also serve up slices of Whiskey Apple Pie!

 We round our Summer Showcase with a return performance by guitarist Danny

winter months during the regular Dinner Program series. He’s returning for two 
engagements during the Summer Showcase Dinner Program series. It’s sure to be a 
fun evennig of good food and great music.
 
 Menu: Choice of Fried Chicken, or BBQ Beef Brisket Dinner, served with
