Discovery Camp presents gallery show tonight

LINCOLN
- On Friday, June 24 from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. participants in the
Atlanta Public Library's Arts Discovery Camp will display their
original artwork in a gallery show upstairs above the Palms Grill
Cafe in Atlanta.

Refreshments will be served, and the public is invited to attend.
Students worked with a variety of media during the week, including
oil pastels, watercolor, and acrylics. They studied elements of
color and design, practiced proportion and line drawing, created
self-portraits in the style of Paul Klee, designed Laurel Burch
cats, and much more.
The Arts Discovery Camp is supported by a generous grant from the
Illinois Prairie Community Foundation.
