Obituary
Donald Ray Emmons of Lincoln passed away on June 17,
2016 at his home in Lincoln.
Donald was born January 9, 1934 in Lincoln the son
of Lena Sophia (Schaub) and Wayne Emmons. He married
Vera Pauline Hutchcraft May 8, 1955 in Lincoln; she
preceded him in death in 1996.
He is survived by his eldest daughter, Debbie
Vanover, her children: Michael Stahler and Amanda
Finley of Oklahoma City, OK. His youngest daughter,
Diana (Steven) Crowell, her children: Jessica,
Elizabeth, Kathryn, and Jaclyn Crowell of Lincoln,
one sister Louise Cobb, one brother Willard (Betty)
Emmons; two step grandsons Kenneth and Stephen
Crowell; five great-grandchildren, and one
great-great granddaughter.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, and
son.

Donald work for PPG for 25 years, he retired in
1988. He took over Emmons Variety Bait Shop in 1976
after his father passed away.
Services for Donald will be held at 9:00 a.m. on
Friday June 24, 2016 at Open Arms Christian
Fellowship, Lincoln. Burial will take place after
the service at 11:00 a.m. in Zion Cemetery, Lincoln.
Memorial donations may be made in Donald’s name to
his family.
Services have been entrusted to
Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home, Lincoln.
