			away at 8:50 a.m. on Monday June 20, 2016 at Vonderlieth Living 
			Center in Mount Pulaski. |

							Obituary 
							 
							Wallace E. “Wally” Kautz Jr., 81, of Mount Pulaski, 
							passed away at 8:50 a.m. on Monday June 20, 2016 at 
							Vonderlieth Living Center in Mount Pulaski.
 Wally was born on July 22, 1934 in Lincoln, to 
							Wallace Eugene and Opal Fern Sargeant Kautz Sr. He 
							was a retired letter carrier for the United States 
							Postal Service for 32 years. He was a member of the 
							National Association Letter Carrier Branch 80 of 
							Springfield, and the Mount Pulaski Courthouse 
							Foundation.
 
 Wally served in the United States Navy from 1955 to 
							1957. He was a member of the Mount Pulaski American 
							Legion Post #447 and the Son of the American Legion 
							Post #447. He was a member of the Mount Pulaski 
							Christian Church where he served and volunteered for 
							many years.

							Services for Wally will be 10:00 a.m. Friday June 
							24, 2016 at the Mount Pulaski Christian Church with 
							Mark Weber officiating. Visitation will be from 
							4:00-7:00 p.m. Thursday June 23, 2016 at 
							Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Mount 
							Pulaski. Burial will be at Mount Pulaski Cemetery 
							where full military honors will be accorded by the 
							Mount Pulaski American Legion Post #447. 
 Memorials may be made to the Mount Pulaski Christian 
							Church o to the Mount Pulaski Courthouse Foundation.
