Johnny Boychuk scored twice, and Brock Nelson, Kyle Okposo and Frans
Nielsen each added goals for the Islanders, who won their third
straight. Boychuk, Okposo, Nielsen and Nick Leddy each finished with
two points as the Islanders improved to 3-0 against the Rangers this
season. The teams will meet once more in the regular season, April 7
at Madison Square Garden.
Oscar Lindberg, Tanner Glass, Eric Staal and Derick Brassard scored
for the Rangers. Antti Raanta finished with 26 saves.
Penguins 6, Devils 1
NEWARK, N.J. -- Evgeni Malkin scored his 26th and 27th goals as
Pittsburgh easily dispatched New Jersey at Prudential Center.
Matt Cullen, Nick Bonino, Bryan Rust and Scott Wilson also scored
for the Penguins, who received 17 saves from Matthew Murray.
Kyle Palmieri scored his 25th goal and Keith Kinkaid stopped 24
shots for the Devils.
Blackhawks 4, Red Wings 1
CHICAGO -- Patrick Kane scored 21 seconds into the first period, and
Chicago pulled away from Detroit from there.
Duncan Keith, Artem Anisimov and Jonathan Toews also scored for the
Blackhawks and Corey Crawford stopped 33 of 34 shots.
Gustav Nyquist scored the Red Wings' lone goal. Petr Mrazek allowed
two goals on five shots before he was replaced less than seven
minutes into the first period. Jimmy Howard stopped 19 of 21 shots
in relief.
Stars 2, Senators 1
OTTAWA -- Antoine Roussel scored with 2:14 left in the third period
to lift Dallas over at Canadian Tire Centre.
The Senators Zack Smith and Stars' Jason Spezza exchanged earlier
goals.
Andrew Hammond, who was making his third consecutive start with
Craig Anderson recovering from a knee injury, stopped 23 shots for
Ottawa and Kari Lehtonen made 23 saves in the Dallas net.

Oilers 2, Jets 1
WINNIPEG, Manitoba -- On a day when the NHL announced Winnipeg will
host the Heritage Classic outdoor game against Edmonton on Oct. 23
at Investors Group Field, the Connor McDavid-lead Oilers defeated
the Jets.
Patrick Maroon and Lauri Korpikoski scored for the Oilers.
Mark Scheifele continued his red-hot ways, snapping home a pass from
Blake Wheeler from the slot for the jets lone goal. Scheifele is
coming off a three-goal performance against the Montreal Canadiens
on Saturday night.
Blues 4, Wild 2
SAINT PAUL, Minn. -- Jori Lehtera, Ryan Reaves, Patrik Berglund and
Robby Fabbri scored goals and Jake Allen had 30 saves, as St. Louis
beat Minnesota for its third win in a row.
For Minnesota, which was playing for the ninth time in 15 days, Matt
Dumba and Ryan Suter scored as they staged a late rally.
Devan Dubnyk, who had backstopped a shootout win Saturday, started
in goal but was yanked near the midway point of the game. Darcy
Kuemper finished the game for Minnesota with 18 saves.
