 NEW YORK -- Matt Cullen's tie-breaking goal with 8:51 left in regulation powered the Pittsburgh Penguins to a 5-3 win over the New York Rangers on Sunday afternoon at Madison Square Garden in New York.

Conor Sheary scored twice, and Patric Hornqvist and Sidney Crosby added a goal each for Pittsburgh. The Penguins have won two straight, and three of their last five. Marc-Andre Fleury made 24 saves.

The Rangers got goals from Chris Kreider, Derick Brassard and Ryan McDonagh. Henrik Lundqvist made 28 saves.

Lightning 4, Blue Jackets 0

COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Steven Stamkos scored twice -- giving him 31 goals on the season -- and Tampa Bay cruised to a win over Columbus in Nationwide Arena.

Ben Bishop was booed every time he touched the puck, but the Lightning goalie had the last word on Blue Jackets' fans with a 33-save shutout, the 16th shutout of his career.

Ondrej Palat and Vladislav Namestnikov also scored, helping the Lightning halt a three-game winless streak.

Maple Leafs 1, Red Wings 0

DETROIT -- Jonathan Bernier made 38 saves for his 12th career shutout and third of the season and Toronto defeated Detroit at Joe Louis Arena.

Michael Grabner scored for the Maple Leafs, who recorded their first regulation win since Feb. 25. It was Grabner's seventh goal of the season and first in 31 games. His last goal had been on Jan. 2.

Petr Mrazek made 26 saves for Detroit.
