Obituary
Myron L. Aper, 74, of New Holland, died at 8:15 p.m.
March 2, 2016 at the Abraham Lincoln Memorial
Hospital Emergency Room, Lincoln.
Myron was born January 27, 1942 in Lincoln, the son
of Fred H. and Mary Aper.
He married Suzanne E. Blaum June 16, 1963 in New
Holland. She survives in New Holland.
Also surviving Myron is one daughter: Teresa (Otis)
Tripplett of Middletown; one son Tim Aper of New
Holland; siblings: Myrna Aper of Lincoln; Arlene
(Jim) Hauk of Peoria; Floyd (Gail) Aper of
Bloomington; five grandchildren: Bret, Destiny,
Nicole, Leslie, and Brandon; and eight great
grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his
parents, grandson Chance, brother Kenny and sister
Kathy.
Myron was a retired salesman for Xamis Ford. He was
a member of the Zion Lutheran Church of New Holland;
he was an avid Chicago Cubs Fan whether they won or
lost! His love for Ford cars and Ford trucks made
him an excellent salesman! He enjoyed gardening and
was an active outdoorsman, also enjoyed woodworking,
and really liked passing his time making delicious
homemade wine. He was a past member of the New
Holland Fire Department. |
Funeral services will be Monday, March 7, 2016 at
11:00 a.m. at the Zion Lutheran Church of New
Holland with Rev. Charles Olander officiating.
Burial will follow in Richmond Grove Cemetery, New
Holland. Visitation will be Sunday, March 6 from
2:00-5:00 p.m. at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral
Home, Lincoln. Memorials may be given in Myron’s
name to Zion Lutheran Church of New Holland or New
Holland Fire and Rescue.
