Obituary
Mary “Jackie” Meyer, 73, of Lincoln passed away at
10:20 a.m. March 13, 2016 at Christian Village,
Lincoln.
Jackie was born July 30, 1942 at Ramsey, IL the
daughter of John and Bessie Arthur Armstrong. She
married Elmond R. Meyer and he preceded her in death
December 6, 2014.
Surviving Jackie are two children: Scott (Gretchen)
Johnson of Pekin; Terri Melton Weah of Langleyville,
IL; Siblings: Metta (Danny) Burguone; Charles
“David” (Nickie) Armstrong; Jim (Carol) Armstrong;
Mike Armstrong; Greg (Teela) Armstrong; Dennis
Armstrong; seven grandchildren and two great
grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her
parents, husband, Brother: Larry, and Sister: Sue.
Jackie was a retired supervisor for Memorial Central
Supply. |
Family Services for Jackie will be held at 11:00a.m.
Tuesday, March 15, 2016 at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader
Funeral Home Lincoln, with David Beals officiating.
Visitation will be held from 9:00-11:00 a.m.
Tuesday, prior to the service. Burial will be in
Camp Butler National Cemetery, Springfield at 1:00
p.m. On Thursday March 17, 2016 Memorials may be
given to the family of Jackie Meyer.
