							Obituary 
							 
							Charles E. Sanders, 61, of Lincoln, passed away at 
							8:55 p.m. March 11, 2016 at his home surrounded by 
							his loving family.
 Charles was born July 7, 1954 in Pekin, IL, the Son 
							of Charles T. and Marie (Covey) Sanders. He married 
							Judith Petro on January 11, 1978 in Lincoln. She 
							survives.
 
 Also surviving Charles are his children; Cheryl 
							(Seth) Williams, William Sanders, James (Kaley) 
							Sanders, Rachel Sanders, David Sanders, Katrina 
							Sanders, and Michelle (Matthew) Bedwell, all of 
							Lincoln, IL; his siblings; Marietta (Ron) Agge of 
							Bloomington, IL, Peggy (Randy) Bergman, of Mason 
							City, IL, Marilyn Ladda, of Pekin, IL, Twila (Wayne) 
							Billingsley, of Tennessee, and Mike Sanders, of 
							Akron, OH; and his six grandchildren.
 
 Charles was preceded in death by his parents.

							Charles was a tax preparer with H & R Block and 
							managing owner of Exel Real Estate and Associates. 
							He worked for Lincoln Developmental Center for 31 
							years, was an ASCME vice-president and union 
							representative, Vice President of the Logan County 
							Board of Real Estate, and he was the Kings Kids 
							Director at Park Meadows Baptist Church as well as 
							Bay View Baptist Church in Washington for over 30 
							years. 
							Services for Charles will be held at 10:00 a.m. 
							Wednesday, March 16, 2016 at Park Meadows Baptist 
							Church, with Rev. Keith Thibo officiating. Burial 
							will follow service at Zion Cemetery, Lincoln. 
							Visitation will be Tuesday, March 15, from 4:00-7:00 
							p.m. at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in 
							Lincoln. Memorial donations may be made in Charles’ 
							name to Kings Kids Mission Fund.
