The Lynx made the trip to Missouri worthwhile by coming away with
a four-set victory. LC took the first set 25-17, but the Wildcats
evened the match by winning set two 25-20.
The two teams battled to a 12-12 tie in set three when LC put
together a four-point run started by a kill from sophomore Adam
Krzos.

Krzos then served the next three points to put LC up for good.
Strong blocking by the Lynx front row allowed them to hold on for a
25-21 set win.

LC Coach Mark Tippett: We had a tough assignment tonight after
coming off of spring break and having to travel a long way for this
match, but our players rose to the challenge and played well from
start to finish. We did a great job of controlling the ball off of
serve receive which gave our offense a good shot at siding out. This
helped us avoid giving up runs of points. Defensively, we played
very well, and both of our setters did a great job of finding open
hitters. Overall, it was a nice team win and a great way to begin
the second half of our season.
This weekend, LC will travel to the University of Missouri in
Columbia to participate in the two-day MWPVC Conference Championship
tournament.
