Dallas clinched a playoff berth with its third straight win and
toppled the defending Stanley Cup champions for the fourth time in
five games this season.
Colton Sceviour, Patrick Eaves, Radek Faksa and Cody Eakin also
scored for the Stars.
Andrew Shaw and Richard Panik scored for the Blackhawks.
Wild 2, Kings 1
SAINT PAUL, Minn. -- Goals by Erik Haula and Mikko Koivu were enough
for Minnesota to top Los Angeles.
Devan Dubnyk's season-high 38 saves made the biggest difference, as
the Wild won their third game in a row, moving ahead of the idle
Colorado Avalanche by a point in the race for the final playoff spot
in the West.
Tyler Toffoli scored the lone goal for the Kings, who lost for the
second time in as many nights. Jonathan Quick had 16 saves for Los
Angeles, which dominated offensively in all three periods but
managed just one goal.
Red Wings 6, Lightning 2
TAMPA, Fla. -- Tampa Bay earned a resounding win over Detroit at
Amalie Arena, moving into a tie with the Florida Panthers for first
place in the Eastern Conference with nine games to play.
Erik Condra, who had just one goal in the previous 65 games, scored
twice, while Steven Stamkos, Ondrej Palat and Nikita Kucherov and
Vladislav Namestnikov scored one each for the Lightning. Ben Bishop
picked up his 31st win of the year but needed only 23 saves to do
so.
Justin Abdelkader and Darren Helm scored the Red Wings.
Blue Jackets 3, Flyers 2 (SO)
COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Columbus, with a full embrace of the spoiler's
role, scored two desperation goals in the final 1:04 of regulation,
then went on to beat Philadelphia in a shootout in Nationwide Arena.
Boone Jenner was the only player to score in the five-round shootout
after also scoring in regulation. Cam Atkinson scored the other Blue
Jackets' goal in regulation.
Claude Giroux and Ryan White scored fort eh Flyers, and Steve Mason
finished with 51 saves.
Capitals 4, Senators 2
OTTAWA -- Braden Holtby made 28 saves and closed in on the NHL
record for most victories in a season as Washington defeated Ottawa
at Canadian Tire Centre.
The win gives Holtby 44, which is four shy of the mark set by Martin
Brodeur in the 2006-07 season.
Mike Richards, Alex Ovechkin, Nicklas Backstrom and T.J. Oshie
scored for the Capitals, while Chris Wideman and Mika Zibanejad
replied for the Senators.
Canadiens 4, Ducks 3
MONTREAL -- Lucas Lessio's late goal lifted Montreal over Anaheim at
the Bell Centre.
Torrey Mitchell, Alex Galchenyuk and Mike Brown also scored for the
Canadiens. Jakob Silfverberg scored twice for the Ducks, who also
got a goal from Corey Perry.
Mike Condon made 30 saves for Montreal while John Gibson stopped 19
shots for Anaheim.

Sabres 3, Hurricanes 2
RALEIGH, N.C. -- Evander Kane and Johan Larsson scored one minute
apart late in the third period as Buffalo rallied to defeat Carolina
to sweep the season series.
Carlo Colaiacovo also scored for the Sabres.
Joakim Nordstrom and Chris Terry scored for the Hurricanes.
Jets 2, Canucks 0
WINNIPEG, Manitoba -- Adam Lowry scored on a wraparound play early
in the third period and Winnipeg went on beat Vancouver.
Mark Scheifele notched his 24th goal of the season into an empty net
with less than a minute left in the game for the Jets. Ondrej
Pavelec made 28 saves to record his first shutout of the season.
Jacob Markstrom stopped 46 shots, including 19 in the second period,
for the Canucks.
Coyotes 4, Oilers 2
GLENDALE, Ariz. -- Alex Tanguay, Tobias Rieder, Martin Hanzal and
Max Domi scored, and Mike Smith made 27 saves as Arizona extended
its franchise-record points streak against Edmonton to 23 games with
a win at Gila River Arena.
The Coyotes are 19-0-4 during the streak and coach Dave Tippett
improved to 24-2-4 against the Oilers in his seven seasons in
Arizona. The last time Arizona lost to Edmonton in regulation was on
Jan. 25, 2011.
Jordan Eberle and Mark Letestu scored for the Oilers, which got 27
saves from Cam Talbot but lost their second straight one-goal game.
Blues 1, Sharks 0
SAN JOSE, Calif. -- Robby Fabbri scored at 9:55 of the third period,
and St. Louis prevented San Jose from clinching a playoff berth.
On the game-deciding goal, Fabbri outraced Sharks captain Joe
Pavelski for a loose puck chipped out of the zone by St. Louis
forward Troy Brouwer. Leading a two-on-one advantage against San
Jose defenseman Justin Braun, Fabbri stopped, deked as if he might
pass to Paul Stastny and instead wristed a shot past Sharks goalie
Martin Jones.
St. Louis goalie Brian Elliott collected his third shutout of the
season and the 33rd of his career with 37 saves. Jones stopped 23 of
the 24 shots he faced.
