The Lynx went down in three sets but they were all two-point
losses (26-24, 25-23, 27-25). The record for the combined squad
falls to 3-5. Lincoln will try again with another road match at
Lindenwood-Belleville on Thursday.

LC Coach Mark Tippett: Three set losses are always rough, but
when the sets are that close it's hard to say we played poorly.
In sets one and three we let late three and four point leads
slip away, which is frustrating. We did battle from start to
finish against an experienced team. St. Ambrose had six seniors
playing on their side and their experience may have made the
difference.
