Stars goaltender Antti Niemi stopped 19 of 20 shots in relief
of starter Kari Lehtonen, who was pulled after one period.
Troy Brouwer had a goal and an assist during regulation time for
St. Louis, which got goals from Patrik Berglund and Joel
Edmundson. Robby Fabbri had two assists for the Blues.
Jamie Benn, Alex Goligoski and Mattias Janmark scored in
regulation time for the Stars, who got two assists from Cody
Eakin.
The best-of-7 series is now tied 1-1.
Sharks 3, Predators 2
SAN JOSE, Calif. -- Joe Pavelski's first goal of the series and
sixth of the playoffs sparked San Jose over Nashville.
The victory gave San Jose a 2-0 lead in its best-of-seven
Western Conference semifinal series that resumes with Game 3 in
Nashville on Tuesday.
Joe Thornton and Logan Couture also scored for the Sharks.
Mattias Ekholm and Ryan Johansen scored for the Predators.
