Keenan Reynolds cleared one hurdle to the NFL when he was drafted by
the Baltimore Ravens in the sixth round of the 2016 draft last
weekend. The next step, a waiver from the Naval Academy, might not
be far behind.
"I thought it was terrific," Ray Mabus, secretary of the United
States Navy, told the Dan Patrick Show. "He's a sterling individual.
If I'm an NFL coach or GM, that's the type of person I want. I can't
think of a better ambassador."

reserve/retired list, signaling the official end of his nine-year
NFL career.

contracts, the team announced.
Running back Wendell Smallwood, a fifth-round pick from West
Virginia, was the highest drafted of Thursday's signees.

The Atlanta Falcons announced they have agreed to terms with 22
undrafted free agent rookies.
Most notable among them is South Carolina running back Brandon
Wilds, who was rated as the No. 29 running back in the draft and No.
400 prospect overall by NFLDraftScout.com.

including a pair of projected mid- to late-round picks in former
Oklahoma inside linebacker Dominique Alexander and former Florida
