"The Music Man," opens at Lincoln Community High School

 

[May 06, 2016]  LINCOLN - Lincoln Community High School is proud to present its Spring 2016 production of the classic musical: “The Music Man.” The cast of LCHS students, student orchestra, and technical crew combine their talents to follow a traveling salesman and con man who poses as a boys’ band director in order to sell band instruments and uniforms to the residents of River City, Iowa. His plans to skip town are foiled when he meets the town librarian.

The production continues with the high standards and rich history of the LCHS music-theater department, including wonderful acting and singing as well as superb set and technical design.

The musical performances will be May 5-8, with ticket prices at $10.00 for adults and $8.00 dollars for children, senior citizens, and students.  The play will begin at 7 p.m. tonight, Friday night, and Saturday. A matinee performance will be offered at 2 p.m. on Sunday.
