Obituary
Laurel E. "Fuzz" Werth, 72, of Lincoln passed away
on Tuesday, April 19, 2016 at 9:41 a.m. at his home.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 30, 2016
from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at the Peasley
Funeral Home.
No Service is scheduled. Cremation rites have been
accorded.
Laurel Edwin Werth was born on November 11, 1943 in
Lincoln the son of Norman Everett and Hazel Lorene
Baughman Werth.
He is survived by his two sisters: Linda Sullivan of
Lincoln, Carol (Tom) Hagerty of Columbus, Ohio. his
nieces and nephews: Brian (Jane) Hagerty, Michael
Hagerty, Beth Hagerty, Kyle (Vondie) Sullivan, Kraig
(Denise) Sullivan and Kim (Rob) Hall. Several great
nieces and nephews also survive. His caregiver
: Harry Loeffler. |
Fuzz graduated from the Lincoln Community High School and
Southern Illinois University in Carbondale.
He was employed as a bartender at the Tropics, Lincoln
Development Center and retired from the Secretary of State
Drivers License facility in Lincoln.
Fuzz enjoyed spending time with his nieces, nephews and friends.
In Lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Humane Society
of Logan County.
