LINCOLN
- As the summer flowers begin to bloom, the Princess Tea returns
this year on June 4, 2016, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Lincoln
Christian Church for the Harvest of Talents for World Hunger.

This event will feature a new format from past events where
little girls will experience a unified theme, “An Afternoon in
Paris.” The committee hopes to transport each young lady to another
place to teach her about another culture, demonstrate hospitality,
and experience fellowship among her peers.
Tickets are available at the office of Lincoln Christian Church, 204
N. McLean St. in Lincoln. The price of each ticket is $15 and the
event is open to young ladies ages Kindergarten through 5th grade.
Seating is limited and ticketing will close on Monday, May 30.
Adults will not be ticketed, but the committee is seeking volunteers
for mothers, aunts, grandmothers and the like to help make this
event a special one for the young audience.

The Princess Tea will serve a specially prepared French-inspired menu of light
snacks and signature iced tea and lemonade, offer a Franco-American history
lesson, and the little princesses will create an art project to take home to
remind them of their time in “Paris.”
