Obituary

Sandra Kay "Sandy" Coffey, 71, of Middletown, passed away May 9, 2016, at home surrounded by her loving family.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. Friday, May 13, 2016, at Holland Barry & Bennett Funeral Home, Lincoln. A Celebration of Life will be held at 11 a.m. Friday also at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Irish Grove Cemetery, Middletown.

Sandy was born Friday, June 13, 1944, in Peoria, the daughter of Clyde and Dorothy (Ruark) Pusey. She was a retired CNA. Sandy enjoyed fishing, camping, Bingo, Slot Machines, and spending time with her family.

Surviving are her children: Tammy Rodems of Middletown, Jerry A. Coffey Jr. (Kathy) of Belleville, Donny A Coffey (Danielle) of Chenoa, and Michael A. Coffey (Mindy) of Lincoln; 14 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren; sister Terrie Sparks of Middletown and brother Donny Pusey (Debbie) of Peoria.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, parents, and her daughter Wendy "Poo" Shumard.

Memorial donations may be made to the family and will be accepted at the funeral home.
