“Brian was a very good catcher who really understood the game. He
took the time to study the game and was a good hitter for his
position,” remembers Lindstrom.
Snitker came from a great high school program in Macon, and
Lindstrom knew Snitker had something special.
“As his college career at Lincoln progressed, Brian proved to be a
Division I athlete and was recruited to play at the University of
New Orleans.”
When asked about Snitker’s new interim manager position, Lindstrom noted, a lot
new managers are former catchers and Snitker’s experience and knowledge of the
game will serve him well in his new role.
Lincoln College is proud to have had a small role in Snitker’s baseball career
and wish him success.
