Boys and Girls Class 7A and 8A Track and Field State Championship

[May 18, 2016]  Illinois Elementary School Association's Class 7A and 8A Boys and Girls Track and Field State Championship competition was held this past Friday and Saturday. Events were held at EastSide Centre, East Peoria.

The following is a list of individuals and teams that placed in the top 10 from Logan County Schools and from just over the line Warrensburg-Latham:

These same girls coached by Kari Froebe also brought home 13th place in the 4x200 Meter Relay with a time of 2:01.15 at state, which was followed by setting a school record time at Sectionals of 1:58.05.
