Wanda Lou Harmon, 88, of New Holland, passed away
May 17, 2016, at her residence.
Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Monday, May 23,
2016, at Open Arms Christian Fellowship. Lincoln.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 24,
2016, also at the church with Pastor Larry Crawford
officiating. Burial will follow in Mason City
Cemetery. Holland Barry & Bennett Funeral Home in
Lincoln has been entrusted with her care.
Wanda was born February 28, 1928, in Mason City,
IL., the daughter of Lafe and Ecil (Stilz) Bale. She
retired as a Mental Health Technician from Lincoln
Developmental Center. She then returned to care for
the developmentally disabled at a group home where
she worked until the age of 82 because she loved her
job so much. She was a member of Open Arms Christian
Fellowship in Lincoln. Wanda devoted her entire life
to her family. She will be sadly missed and lovingly
remembered.

Survivors include: her children Ron (Barbara) Clark of Pekin, Randy (Sally)
Clark of Tremont, Donna Clark of Peoria, Rick (Salie) Harmon of Nokomis, and
Roger Harmon of New Holland; sister Beryle Brouch of Springfield, brother Larry
(Pat) Bale of Mason City, nine grandchildren, and was affectionately known as
Old MaMa to 20 great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren and one on
the way.
She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter Terry Crisp, granddaughter
Nicki Clark, sister Faye Dye, and sister Hilda Kelley.
Memorial donations may be made to the organization of the donor's choice.
