Wolverines take two at Crusader Tournament Thursday night

[November 03, 2016]    Tuesday night at the Carroll Catholic/New Holland-Middletown/Zion Lutheran Crusader Tournament, West Lincoln - Broadwell played the host of the tournament and came out with a split. WLB won the 7th grade game 41 - 27. Brody Whiteman lead the team with ten rebounds and 14 points. Elijah Pollice also scored 14 points and had five assists. Scotty Battin also dished out five assists.

 

In the 8th grade game, WLB lost to CC/NHM/ZLS 40 - 51. WLB was lead by Braden Saylor with 16 points and 15 rebounds. Lucus Konczyk contributed nine points with seven rebounds.

On Thursday night, in the final round of the Crusader Tournament, WLB went up against Illini Central.

WLB 7th grade was victorious 49-17 capturing first place for the 7th grade side of the tournament, WLB was lead by Jacob Langley with 13 rebounds and 10 points. Elijah Pollice tossed in 13 points with five steals, and Scotty Battin added eight points and five assists.

WLB 8th grade was also victorious Thursday night with the score of 51 - 18. Patrick McCraith lea the team with 16points, six assists, and five rebounds. Scotty Battin added 11 points, and Braden Saylor grabbed 14 rebounds.
