[November 04, 2016]  MOUNT PULASKI - Marilyn F. Talmage, 93, passed away at 2:30 p.m. on October 22, 2016 at Vonderlieth Living Center in Mount Pulaski.

Visitation: 10 a.m. Thursday October 27, 2016 at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in Mount Pulaski

Service: 11 a.m. Thursday at the church

Funeral home: Fricke-Calvert-Schrader, Mount Pulaski

Obituary

Marilyn F. Talmage, 93, passed away at 2:30 p.m. on October 22, 2016 at Vonderlieth Living Center in Mount Pulaski.

Marilyn was born on March 31, 1923 in Lincoln, daughter of Frank and Rena ( Fuhrer) Buehler. She married Richard Talmage Sr. on October 11, 1945. He preceded her in death on July 26, 1977.

Surviving Marilyn are her children: Richard F. (Sally) Talmage Jr. of Merritt Island, FL, Jane (Don) Butler of St. Louis, MO, and Amy Talmage of Mount Pulaski, five grandchildren: Jason Talmage, Kyle Talmage, Katie Brettschneider, Michael Kutz, and Patrick Kutz; five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Marilyn was a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church of Mount Pulaski. She was the head nurse in surgery at St. John’s Hospital and worked in oncology Department at SIU School of Medicine.

Services for Marilyn will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday October 27, 2016 at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in Mount Pulaski with Rev. Jeffrey Laible officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Burial at Mount Pulaski Cemetery will follow the service.

Memorials may be made to St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church.

Services are entrusted to Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Mount Pulaski.
