Nov 4 (The Sports Xchange) - Highlights of Friday's National
Basketball Association games.
Lakers 117, Warriors 97
Lou Williams and Julius Randle scored 20 points apiece, and the Los
Angeles Lakers stunned the Golden State Warriors 117-97 on Friday at
the Staples Center.
Randle also had a game-high 14 rebounds as the Lakers beat the
Warriors for the second time in a row. They also defeated Golden
State on March 6.
Kevin Durant scored 27 points, while Draymond Green had 16 points
and nine rebounds for the Warriors, who were coming off a blowout of
Oklahoma City on Thursday. Stephen Curry had 13 points, 11 assists
and eight rebounds but saw his NBA-record streak of hitting at least
one 3-pointer end at 157 games.
Knicks 117, Bulls 104
Kristaps Porzingis scored 27 points and all five New York starters
reached double figures against Chicago.
The Knicks opened the fourth quarter with a 10-0 run to break the
game open after the Bulls erased an early double-figure deficit and
led in the third quarter.
Raptors 96, Heat 87
DeMar DeRozan had 34 points and Toronto defeated Miami to extend
their winning streak to three games.
DeRozan set a club record by scoring 30 or more points in five
straight games when he hit a jump shot with 2:30 to play in the
game. He added a floating jumper with 2:14 remaining to help seal
the game for the Raptors.
Suns 112, Pelicans 111 (overtime)
T.J. Warren took a backdoor inbounds pass from P.J. Tucker in the
lane and slammed home a dunk to lift Phoenix over winless New
Orleans.
The Suns trailed 111-110, but after a timeout, they had time to set
up an inbounds play. Warren faked Solomon Hill near the top of the
key and then knifed toward the basket, where Tucker hit him with a
perfectly timed pass for the winning dunk.

Trail Blazers 105, Mavericks 95
Damian Lillard continued his torrid start and Portland topped
short-handed Dallas at American Airlines Center.
Lillard racked up a season-high 42 points on 12-of-18 shooting from
the field, including 5 of 6 from 3-point range. He has scored at
least 27 points in all six games this season for the best scoring
start in franchise history.
