Highlights of Sunday's National Hockey League games:
Ducks 4, Flames 1
Ryan Kesler scored two power-play goals, and Ryan Getzlaf and Corey
Perry each added three assists to lead the Anaheim Ducks to a 4-1
win over the Calgary Flames on Sunday.
The Ducks set an NHL record for most consecutive victories at home
against one team, beating Calgary in Anaheim for the 24th
consecutive time. The Philadelphia Flyers held the previous mark by
defeating the Pittsburgh Penguins 23 successive times between 1980
and 1987.
Getzlaf now has 531 career assists, tying Teemu Selanne for the
franchise record. Andrew Cogliano scored his team-leading fifth
goal, Clayton Stoner contributed his first of the season, and goalie
Jonathan Bernier stopped 25 shots for the Ducks, who won for the
third time in four games.
Alex Chiasson scored the only goal for the Flames, who sustained
their fourth loss in five games.
Oilers 2, Red Wings 1
Ryan Nugent-Hopkins' power-play goal late in the second period broke
a tie, and Edmonton defeated Detroit. It was the Oilers' second win
in less than 24 hours and the Red Wings' fifth straight loss.
Tyler Pitlick also scored for Edmonton, which beat the New York
Islanders 4-3 in a shootout Saturday night on the road. Jonas
Gustavsson, a former Red Wing, stopped 21 shots.
Justin Abdelkader scored for Detroit Jimmy Howard made 26 saves.
Blues 5, Avalanche 1
Robby Fabbri and Jori Lehtera each scored their first goals of the
season early in the first period to send St. Louis over Colorado.
Kevin Shattenkirk assisted on three of the Blues goals as they
chased Avalanche goalie Semyon Varlamov after the second period with
their five goals on 25 shots
Jaden Schwartz, Scottie Upshall and David Perron also scored for the
Blues while Matt Duchene scored for the Avalanche.

Devils 4, Hurricanes 1
Michael Cammalleri produced a hat trick and New Jersey won for the
first time in six road games, defeating Carolina at PNC Arena.
Beau Bennett assisted on two of Cammalleri's goals and Andy Greene
added an empty-net goal for the Devils with 28 seconds to play.
The Hurricanes avoided a shutout when Andrej Nestrasil scored his
first goal of the season.
Rangers 5, Jets 2
New York continued to be an offensive juggernaut this season as it
reached the five-goal mark for a fifth-straight game in a victory
against Winnipeg at Madison Square Garden.
Kevin Hayes, J.T. Miller, Pavel Buchnevich, Mats Zuccarello and
Jesper Fast scored for the Rangers. Goaltender Henrik Lundqvist
stopped 24 shots to earn the win.
Mark Scheifele and Patrik Laine scored for the Jets. Starting
goaltender Connor Hellebuyck allowed 12 goals on 16 shots before
being replaced by Michael Hutchinson late in the second period.
Hutchinson made one save, as the Rangers didn't put on a shot on net
in the third period.
Blackhawks 4, Stars 3 (OT)
Marian Hossa scored with 28.7 seconds remaining in overtime to lift
Chicago to a win over Dallas.
Jonathan Toews scored a goal and had two assists for the Blackhawks.
Patrick Kane and Artem Anisimov also scored as Chicago, which its
sixth consecutive game.
Gemel Smith scored the first two goals of his NHL career for the
Stars and Tyler Seguin added a goal.
