The Winnipeg Jets reached agreement with restricted free agent
defenseman Jacob Trouba on a two-year contract with base
salaries of $2.5 million this season and $3.5 million in
2017-18, the team announced.
If Trouba had not signed with an NHL team before Dec. 1, he
would have become ineligible to play the rest of the 2016-17
season.

The Chicago Blackhawks agreed to terms with forward Alex
DeBrincat on a three-year contract.
DeBrincat, 18, Chicago's second-round pick (No. 39 overall) in
this year's draft, is off to a prolific start with the Erie
Otters of the Ontario Hockey League.

The Arizona Coyotes recalled defenseman Anthony DeAngelo and
center Tyler Gaudet from Tucson of the American Hockey League.
The moves came on the heels of the Coyotes placing defenseman
Michael Stone (upper body) and forward Martin Hanzal (lower
