In the 7th grade contest, the Crusaders from Carroll
Catholic/New Holland-Middletown/Zion Lutheran schools were
victorious by a score of 36-19. Leading the Crusaders in scoring
was Trent Koehler with 19 points, followed by Everett Maaks and
Drew McCray with 8 points a piece and Darren Stevens with 1
point. The 7th graders run their record to 5-1 on the season.
The 8th grade Crusaders won by a score of 42-27 to improve to
6-0 on the season. The Crusaders were led in scoring by Dylan
Singleton with 33 points. The rest of the scoring saw Jared
Merriman score 4, Trent Koehler with 3 and Nathan Fulscher with
2.
The next game for the Crusaders will be against Greenview at New
Holland-Middletown on Thursday evening starting at 6 p.m. |
