Chicago Bears wide receiver Alshon Jeffery has been suspended four
games for violating the NFL's performance-enhancing drug policy.
The league announced Monday that Jeffery will miss the next four
games. He is eligible to return to Chicago's active roster following
the game against the Detroit Lions on Dec. 11 and be available for
the game against the Green Bay Packers on Dec. 18.

There is no quarterback controversy in Dallas after all as Tony Romo
gets ready this week for the Cowboys to be rookie Dak Prescott's
backup against the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday.
"We are going to let the decision make itself," owner and general
manager Jerry Jones said after the Cowboys beat the Pittsburgh
Steelers 35-30 on Sunday for their eighth straight win. "Dak has got
a hot hand, and we're going to go with it."

Los Angeles Rams defensive end Robert Quinn admitted himself to the
hospital with a non-football-related illness.
Quinn is in stable condition, the team announced in a statement.

Buffalo Bills wide receiver Sammy Watkins, who has been on injured
reserve since Week 3 because of a foot injury, is eligible to return
to practice this week, but Rex Ryan said that he's not ready.
The Bills' medical staff has not cleared to him practice, so Ryan is
adhering to that recommendation.

New York Giants wide receiver Victor Cruz is expected to miss Monday
night's game against the Cincinnati Bengals due to an ankle injury.
According to NFL Network, Cruz will not be active for the Giants'
home game at MetLife Stadium.
Undrafted rookie wide receiver Roger Lewis likely will see an
increased role if Cruz is unable to play.

The NFL announced that the Kansas City Chiefs at Denver Broncos game
on Nov. 27 will be flexed into "Sunday Night Football" for Week 12.
The originally scheduled Sunday night game between the New England
Patriots and New York Jets at MetLife Stadium will be moved to 4:25
p.m. ET on CBS.
The Chiefs-Broncos game moves to 8:30 p.m. on NBC to give fans a
more compelling matchup based on the standings and playoff
implications.
