[November 17, 2016]  LINCOLN -  Orville J. Miller, 82, of Lincoln, passed away October 21, 2016, at home surrounded by his loving family.

Visitation:  5-7 p.m. Thursday, October 27, 2016, at Holland Barry & Bennett Funeral Home

Service:  Friday at 10 a.m. at the funeral home

Obituary

Orville J. Miller, 82, of Lincoln, passed away October 21, 2016, at home surrounded by his loving family.

Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Thursday, October 27, 2016, at Holland Barry & Bennett Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Friday, October 28, 2016, at 10 a.m. also at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Irish Grove Cemetery, Middletown.

Orville was born November 5, 1934, in Lincoln, the son of Orville J. Miller Sr. and Grace (Harness) Miller. He married Barbara Snyder on July 2, 1955, in Mason City.

 

Survivors include: his wife Barb Miller of Lincoln; daughters Paula K. (Tony) Dinger of Lincoln and Karen S. (Richard) Letterle of Lincoln; 6 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and one on the way, and four great great grandchildren; sisters Barbara Pfeifer of MO., Kay Hill of TN., Marjorie (David) Yeates of Greenview, and Shirley (Darrell) Barthel of SC.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his brothers Richard and David Miller

Orville retired from Haco Chemical Company in Atlanta. He was a farm helper to many farmers in the area. He enjoyed fishing, listening to his grandson play music, and Nascar Racing, especially Earnhardt.

Memorial donations may be made to the family and will be accepted at the funeral home.
