the Buffalo Sabres on Thursday night.
Nikita Nesterov, Nikita Kucherov and Brayden Point also scored for

the game that Stamkos is expected to miss four months after
undergoing surgery to repair a torn meniscus.
Ben Bishop made 32 saves for Tampa Bay.
Cody Franson scored for Buffalo. Robin Lehner made 34 saves.
Flyers 5, Jets 2
One day after blaming himself for costing Philadelphia a point in a
shootout loss to Ottawa, goaltender Steve Mason helped earn his team
two points with a win over the Winnipeg Jets.
Mason turned aside 30 of 32 shots and received goal support from
Sean Couturier, Michael Raffl, Mark Streit, Brandon Manning and
Wayne Simmonds to help give the Flyers their second win in three
games.
Winnipeg goaltender Connor Hellebuyck, on the other hand, struggled
all night, stopping just 17 of 21 shots to suffer his first loss
since Nov. 6. Dustin Byfuglien and Blake Wheeler scored for the
Jets.
Maple Leafs 6, Panthers 1
Connor Brown scored two first-period goals and added two assists,
and Toronto defeated Florida.

five goals in his last six games and six for the season. Kevin
Lablanc and Logan Couture scored for the Sharks.

Mikael Granlund's goal with 44.5 seconds remaining in regulation
broke a scoreless tie and lifted Minnesota over Boston.

Granlund, who also scored the Wild's most recent goal at home,
attempted to feed Jonas Brodin at the weak-side post but his pass
deflected behind Bruins goaltender Tuukka Rask to break the Wild's
six-period scoreless streak at home.
As expected, though, Rask (28 saves) and Minnesota's Devan Dubnyk
(25 saves) were the stars of the show. The shutout is Dubnyk's
league-leading fourth of the season.
Stars 3, Avalanche 2
Kari Lehtonen stopped 34 of 36 shots, helping Dallas hold on for a
victory against Colorado at American Airlines Center.
Johnny Oduya, Brett Ritchie and Patrick Eaves scored for the Stars,

Angeles ended a three-game skid with a victory over Edmonton at
