Obituary
Stanley Dean Boughan, 89, passed away at 11:27 a.m.
on November 11, 2016 at the Christian Village of
Lincoln.
Stanley was born on August 9, 1927 in Lincoln, son
of Vincent and Hilma Henke Boughan Sr. He married
Jenny Lou Shirley on February 24, 1985 in Lincoln.
She survives him.
Also surviving Stanley are his children: Julie
Becker of Naples, FL; Stacy Boughan of Lincoln;
Sandra VanHilsen of Mesa, AZ; Susan (Richard) Dryden
of Lakeland, MN; Terry (Kathy) Vanhilsen of Gilbert,
AZ; four grandchildren: Abby, Andrew, Kelsey, and
Blake; nine great-grandchildren: Nolan, Reagan,
Catalyn, Brody, Gaven, Taylor, Mia, Joey, and Bay.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one
grandson: Joey Boughan, and one brother: Vincent
Boughan Jr. |
Services for Stanley will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday
November 19, 2016 at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral
Home in Lincoln with Ryan Edgecombe officiating.
Visitation will be one hour prior to service. Burial
at Hartsburg Union Cemetery will follow the service
where full military rites will be accorded by
Lincoln American Legion Post#263.
Memorials may be made in Stanley’s name to the First
United Methodist Church of Lincoln.
