Obituary
ELKHART - Alberta J. “Bunnie” Mileham, 80, of
Elkhart passed away at 2:10 p.m. on Monday, November
14, 2016 at St. John’s Hospital in Springfield.
Bunnie was born on April 12, 1936 in Elkhart, the
daughter of William and Ima Jean (Weddle) Hogan. She
married Dean Mileham on April 12, 1952 in Lincoln.
He survives in Elkhart.
Bunnie is also survived by Russel “Buster” Mileham
of Imogene, MN, whom she and Dean raised, her
children; Gary Mileham of Edinburg, William (Sandy)
Mileham of Lake Fork, Elmira Mileham of Elkhart,
Terry (Charity) Mileham of Mount Pulaski, and Jamie
(Samantha) Mileham of Mount Pulaski; two sisters,
Linda Lou Hogan of Decatur, and Cynthia Peavler of
Decatur; one brother, Gerald Leffler of Elkhart, 23
grandchildren, 46 great-grandchildren, and 4
great-great- grandchildren.

Bunnie was preceded in death by her parents, two
daughters, Deanna Kay Mileham, and Linda Radtke; her
brother, John Hogan, two grandchildren, two
great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
Bunnie worked at Vonderlieth Living Center in Mount
Pulaski. She was also known for making peanut
brittle. Bunnie was a member of the VFW Auxiliary.
Services for Bunnie will be held at 10:00 a.m. on
Friday, November 18, 2016 at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader
Funeral Home, Mount Pulaski. with Rev. Jonathan
Buescher officiating. Visitation will be held from
4:00-7:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 17, 2016 also
at the funeral home. Burial will follow the services
at Carlyle Cemetery in Lake Fork.
Memorial donations may be made in Bunnie’s name to
her family.
