			Highlights
of Friday's National Basketball Association games:
 Cavaliers 104, Pistons 81

Kyrie Irving scored 25 points and passed for a season-high 11
assists, LeBron James scored 21 points and Kevin Love had 12 points
and 13 rebounds in a 104-81 win against the Detroit Pistons on
			Friday.

J.R. Smith passed Dirk Nowitzki for 15th place on the 3-point career
			list and now has 1,706.

The Pistons fell to 1-7 on the road and continued their miserable
struggles away from home, shooting 31 percent.

The Cavs, meanwhile, continue to roll. They have made at least 10
3-pointers in every game this season, an NBA record that is now at
			12 games and climbing.

 Warriors 104, Celtics 88

The Golden State Warriors put on a clinic in the third quarter en
route to a 104-88 road win over an undermanned Boston Celtics.

Ahead by seven at halftime, the Warriors went on a 24-3 run --
capped by an 18-0 streak -- to break open the competitive game and
power to their sixth straight victory.

Klay Thompson scored 11 of his 28 points in the quarter, with the
Golden State defense holding the Celtics to 2-for-17 shooting from
			the floor in the quarter.

Steph Curry avoided a season low when he hit a 3-pointer and another
basket late, finishing with 16 points (his low was 13).

 Thunder 124, Nets 105

Russell Westbrook collected his fourth triple-double of the season
to lead the Oklahoma City Thunder to a 124-105 victory over the
			Brooklyn Nets.

Westbrook posted 30 points, 11 rebounds and 13 assists to reach 41
career triple-doubles. He also became the second player in NBA
history to record 13,000 points, 3,400 rebounds and 4,500 assists in
his first 600 career NBA games. Oscar Robertson was first.

 Raptors 113, Nuggets 111 (overtime)

DeMar DeRozan scored 30 points, Kyle Lowry scored 18 and had 13
assists and the Toronto Raptors beat the Denver Nuggets 113-111 in
			overtime.

Danilo Gallinari scored 21 points and hit all 13 of his free throws
for the Nuggets. He was a rebound shy of a double-double.

After dropping consecutive games to last year's two NBA finalists,
the Raptors (8-4) started their five-game road trip on a high note
to sweep the season series from Denver.

			 Spurs 116, Lakers 107
LaMarcus Aldridge and Kawhi Leonard scored 23 points each to lead
seven San Antonio players in double figures, and the Spurs held off
			the Los Angeles Lakers 116-107.

Leonard also collected 11 rebounds and seven assists for the Spurs
(10-3), who posted their fifth consecutive win. Pau Gasol and Tony
Parker contributed 16 points apiece. Parker dished out seven
			assists.

Lou Williams scored 24 points to lead the Lakers (7-6), who have
lost six straight to the Spurs.

			Clippers
			121, Kings 115
Blake Griffin scored 29 points, and J.J. Redick tallied 22 of his 26
in the first half, and the Los Angeles Clippers held on to beat the
			Sacramento Kings 121-115.

The Clippers led by 20 points early in the final quarter but the
Kings rallied to close the margin to two points before their run
			petered out.

 Suns 116, Pacers 96

The Phoenix Suns haven't exactly been road warriors, but they took
advantage of an Indiana Pacers squad missing All-Star Paul George
			and 3-point shooter C.J. Miles for a 116-96 victory.

The Suns (4-9) won away from home for just the second time in eight
games this season, thanks mostly to a 78-35 edge in bench scoring.

The Pacers (6-7) fell to 6-2 at home. The common denominator in both
of those blemishes has been the absence of George, who rested a sore
			left ankle.

			Hornets 100, Hawks 96
Nicolas Batum scored a season-high 24 points, Cody Zeller scored 23
and Kemba Walker had 21 as the Charlotte Hornets rallied from a
10-point deficit in the fourth quarter to beat Atlanta 100-96,
snapping the Hawks' six-game win streak.

Charlotte (8-3) took control after Atlanta's Dwight Howard was
ejected for a Flagrant-2 foul with 5:38 remaining. Atlanta led 89-86
			at the time.

The Hawks (9-3) had led 85-75 with 9:49 remaining.

 Pelicans 113, Trail Blazers 101

Anthony Davis returned from a one-game injury absence, Jrue Holiday
made his season debut and the duo led the New Orleans Pelicans to a
113-101 victory over the Portland Trail Blazers.

Davis scored a game-high 38 points, while Holiday came off the bench
to score 21 for the Pelicans (3-10).

The Blazers (7-7) lost for the second straight night in the second
			of a five-game road trip.

 Grizzlies 80, Mavericks 64

Chandler Parsons scored 12 points in his return to Dallas and the
Memphis Grizzlies breezed by the injury-riddled Mavericks 80-64.

Parsons was introduced to a smattering of boos in his first game
back since leaving the Mavs after two injury-plagued years.

The depleted Mavericks (2-9) have lost four in row. Dallas was
without starters Dirk Nowitzki and Deron Williams, and key reserves
J.J. Barea and Devin Harris. (Editing by Andrew Both)
