Emily Salander named November LTEC Stundet-of-the-Month

 

[November 22, 2016]  LINCOLN - Emily Salander, daughter of Dave & Lynda Salander, was named November Student of the Month for the Cosmetology program at the Lincolnland Technical Education Center. Emily is a junior at Lincoln Community High School.

Tiffany Vincent, instructor, selected Emily for her outstanding ability as well as being an ideal student. Ms. Vincent says that Emily is considerate and always shows respect to her and her classmates. Emily is above average in her skill level, is always open and eager to learn new skills. She has a positive attitude is helpful, courteous and has wonderful enthusiasm in what she is learning and accomplishing. She participates in class discussion, has a good work ethic and attendance. Emily is a pleasure to have in class.

Emily volunteers at the Humane Society.

Emily plans to pursue a degree at Heartland and attend a nail tech School after graduating Heartland.

Emily received $50 from the Kiwanis Club of Lincoln who sponsors this award and was honored at the noon luncheon.
