 To start the excitement the seventh grade, Lady Wolverines
defeated Springfield Christian to capture the program's 3rd
consecutive regional title.
With the win, the Lady Wolverines are now 22-0 and playing for the
Sectional Championship against Lady Our Lourdes on Wednesday night,
at WLB at 6:30 p.m.
The victory was a total team effort. Kloe Froebe led the offensive
attack with 23 points, and Tori Schilling added eight. Elly Martinez
and Kloe Froebe led on the boards, as both girls grabbed nine
rebounds over Springfield Christian's big girls. Tori Schilling
pulled down eight as well. The team executed their game plan and
came away with a very exciting victory by the score of 41-27.
To top off their exciting week, the Lady Wolverine program headed to
Knightstown, Indiana home of the "Hoosiers" gymnasium. The girls
were given the opportunity to practice on the same court that
the"Hickory Huskers" played their home games on during the movie
Hoosiers.

It was an amazing experience for the girls as they heard many behind
the scenes stories about the movie as well as the opportunity to
play on such an inspiring court.
