Nov. 28 (The Sports Xchange) -
Indianapolis Colts quarterback Andrew Luck returned to the practice
field Monday after missing last Thursday's night game because of a
concussion.
Luck remains in the NFL's concussion protocol, but Colts coach Chuck
Pagano expects him to play next Monday night at the New York Jets,
barring any setbacks.
During the open media portion of practice, Luck participated in the
team's individual drills, throwing to his receivers and tight ends.
Safety Clayton Geathers also missed the Thanksgiving game after
suffering a concussion against the Titans on Nov. 20.

New York Jets coach Todd Bowles said Ryan Fitzpatrick remains the
starting quarterback for next week's game against the Indianapolis
Colts on Monday night.
Bowles was noncommittal on his starting quarterback after Sunday's
22-17 loss to the New England Patriots dropped the Jets to 3-8.
Bowles said there was never a doubt. Fitzpatrick, back as the
starter after missing New York's previous game with a sprained knee,
was 22 of 32 for 269 yards with two touchdowns and no interceptions
against the Patriots.

The Tennessee Titans released struggling veteran cornerback Perrish
Cox.
Cox, signed by the Titans in March 2015, recorded three
interceptions in 11 games this season, but he struggled in coverage
in recent games.
The Titans promoted rookie cornerback Kalan Reed from the practice
squad to the team's 53-man roster to take Cox's place.

The Detroit Lions signed former quarterback Logan Thomas to their
practice squad as a tight end.
The 6-foot-6, 250-pound Thomas, 25, entered the NFL as a quarterback
after being selected by the Arizona Cardinals in the fourth round of
the 2014 NFL Draft out of Virginia Tech.

squad.

The San Francisco 49ers signed running back Raheem Mostert to their
practice squad.
The 5-foot-10, 197-pound Mostert originally signed with the
Philadelphia Eagles as an undrafted free agent on May 2, 2015. After
signing with Philadelphia's practice squad on Sept. 6, 2015, he was
signed to the Miami Dolphins' active roster a week later.

The New England Patriots claimed defensive tackle Darius Kilgo off
waivers from the Denver Broncos and released RB D.J. Foster from the
53-man roster.
Kilgo, 24, saw action in nine games this season and was released by
Denver on Nov. 25.

The Arizona Cardinals released safety Christian Bryant.
Bryant was signed from the practice squad on Nov. 1 and appeared in
two games for Arizona, registering one tackle on special teams.
His release could open a roster spot for safety Tyvon Branch, who
has been sidelined since Oct. 4 due to a groin injury. (Editing by
