Elkhart Christian Church will be hosting a free dinner and music/drama production entitled, “The Great Joy of Christmas”, Saturday, December 10th at 6:00pm at the ECC Fellowship and Community Center, 206 S. Gillett St. in Elkhart. The dinner and production is free but you need to make reservations by Sunday, December 4th by emailing office@elkhartcc.org or by calling (217) 947-2726.

The theme during Advent will be "Come Home For Christmas" with special events each Sunday. Services are at 11:00 am.
First Sunday in Advent-November 27th: "Wear Red and Greens" to get into the mood for the Christmas Season. Enjoy the season's music with the choir, directed by Claus Tanner and accompanied by Beth Anderson.
Second Sunday in Advent-December 4th: "Bring a Friend" Sunday with Holy Communion. Pastor Zoila Marty will speak on "Meet Our Friend, Jesus".
Third Sunday in Advent-December11th: "Bring Your Grandchildren" as we "Walk to the Manger". This will be our presentation of gifts for needy children. All children will receive a small gift!
Fourth Sunday in Advent-December 18th: "Wear Your Ugly Christmas Sweater/Tie". Join us for the fun, yet prepare for the Birth of the Newborn King.
Christmas Eve Service with candlelight and special music. This is a meditative, moving service as we wait for the Birth of Jesus.
Sunday, Christmas Day-December 25th: Holy Communion Service at 11:00am. "Come Home for Christmas" to celebrate the Birth of our Newborn King. Bring your family and visitors.

Our December calendar of events is mostly our regular services except for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. Our regular service times are Sundays 7:30am and 9:45am, Tuesdays 8:00am Morning Prayer, Thursdays 6:00pm Healing Service. We also now offer Sunday School for children ages 4-12 every Sunday at 8:30am (there is also adult education happening at this time).

Christmas Sunday we will have one service at 9:45am instead of the regular two services.
