							Obituary 
							Ronald H. Aper, 75, of Atlanta passed away on 
							Saturday, November 26, 2016 at 4:43 p.m. at the 
							Advocate BroMenn Regional Medical Center in Normal.
 Funeral Services for Mr. Aper will be held on 
							Thursday, December 1, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. at the 
							McLean Christian Church with Mr. Tony Billingsley 
							officiating.
 
 Visitation will be held on Wednesday evening from 
							5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the McLean Christian 
							Church.
 
 Burial will be in the Atlanta Cemetery.
 
 Ronald Harry Aper was born on April 19, 1941 in 
							Hartsburg, the son of Harry and Francis (Trepel) 
							Aper. He was united in marriage to Sherry Deanne 
							Walters on September 21, 1962. She preceded him in 
							death on February 2, 1993. He later married Peggy 
							Barr on May 18, 1996. She survives.
 
 Also surviving are his children: Valerie Schmid, 
							Natalie (Jim) Bailey, Stacy Kirby, Angela Neville 
							and Elizabeth (Darrell) Miller; one brother: Jim 
							(Kathy) Aper; one sister: Elizabeth Kingsley; twelve 
							grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.

							He was preceded in death by three brothers and one 
							infant sister.
 Ron graduated from the Hartsburg-Emden High School 
							in 1959.
 
							He is a member of the McLean Christian Church, 
							Atlanta Masonic Lodge #165 AF & AM.
 Ron owned the UPS Store in Bloomington and the 217 
							Roadhouse Bar & Grill in Atlanta. He was also part 
							owner of the Atlanta Golf Course. Previously he had 
							operated and managed the Country Aire Restaurant for 
							23 years, owned Mr. A's Pizza, Two of A Kind, and 
							R&S Washhouse, all in Atlanta.
 
 Memorials may be made to the McLean Christian 
							Church, Atlanta Fire Department or Atlanta Rescue 
							Squad.
 
 Quiram Peasley Funeral Home is in charge of 
							arrangements.
