The Cardinals (1-3) ruled out starting quarterback Carson
Palmer, who is dealing with a concussion. The veteran left
Sunday's loss at the Los Angeles Rams with the injury and did
not clear the NFL's mandated medical protocol on a short week of
preparation.

Chicago Bears wide receiver Kevin White is headed back to where
he spent 2015 -- injured reserve. White suffered a fractured
left fibula and a high ankle sprain on a 1-yard reception
against the Detroit Lions in Sunday's 17-14 victory at Soldier
Field.
Bears coach John Fox said the second-year player will be placed
on IR.

With unsportsmanlike conduct penalties on the rise this season,
the NFL is planning to send teams an explanatory video to
clarify the rules for taunting and celebrations.
According to ESPN, taunting calls have risen 220 percent
compared to the first four weeks of last season, while other
unsportsmanlike penalties -- primarily for celebrations -- are
up 56 percent.

The NFL has added synthetic marijuana to the list of banned
substances within the league's 2016 drug policy.
The league and the NFL Players Association announced that a key
change included: "Synthetic Marijuana -- known by the names
Spice, K2 and Blaze, among others -- has been added to the
standard testing panel."

Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger and Atlanta
Falcons wide receiver Julio Jones put up impressive numbers to
earn Offensive Player of the Week in their respective
conferences.
Roethlisberger completed 22 of 27 passes for 300 yards and five
touchdowns for a quarterback rating of 152.5 in the 43-14 win
over the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday night. He threw four
touchdown passes in the first half.
Jones set a franchise record with 300 receiving yards on 12
receptions in Atlanta's 48-33 win over the Carolina Panthers.
Jones' Week 4 performance vaulted him into the NFL lead with 488
receiving yards this season.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers signed linebacker Josh Keyes and
running back Russell Hansbrough to their practice squad.

The Baltimore Ravens promoted tight end Daniel Brown from the
practice squad.
Brown takes the active roster spot created when running back
Justin Forsett was released Tuesday after a mutual agreement.
